As you know, Italy, besides being a beautiful country for holidays, has always been a model for fashion and craftsmanship.
Just think of Gucci, Armani, Valentino, Versace, Prada, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Bulgari, Buccellati, and major car brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini (just to name a few) to see that since ancient times, Italian fashion and jewelry have been renowned worldwide for their beauty and craftsmanship.
The Gasbarri family has been a family of goldsmiths and artisans since the 1960s.
The Gasbarri family:
Orlando Gasbarri, born in the early 1900s, is the first goldsmith in the Gasbarri family.
After World War II, he returned on foot from Germany, where he had been a prisoner of war and worked in the German salt mines.
Upon returning to Rome, where our family hails from countless generations, Grandfather Orlando Gasbarri launched his metals business, opening his first jewelry store in the 1960s just steps from the Colosseum.
Piero Gasbarri, one of his sons, took over this jewelry business and expanded it to own three stores in Rome's historic center.
Piero Gasbarri had four sons: Adriano, Matteo, Riccardo, and Orlando.
Piero Gasbarri's four sons each studied a different branch of the jewelry industry:
Adriano Gasbarri, who studied goldsmithing in Italy, later specialized in the study of diamonds and precious gems at the prestigious GIA America.
Matteo Gasbarri pursued business studies, specializing in the family's economic and commercial management and the mining of precious materials from South America and Africa.
Riccardo Gasbarri studied goldsmithing in Italy at the renowned Academy of Goldsmith Arts in Rome under the expert guidance of the renowned Master Goldsmith Salvatore Gerardi. Salvatore Gerardi and his goldsmithing school are currently considered the best goldsmithing school in the world.
Orlando Gasbarri specialized his studies in the import and export of precious stones, visiting countries around the world and participating in countless international trade fairs.

These four sons—Adriano, Matteo, Riccardo, and Orlando—were later joined by their wives and other family relatives, creating a truly Italian family-run business in the historic center of Rome. After years, Piero Gasbarri's jewelry shops were replaced by his sons' true craftsmanship, establishing the goldsmith's workshop on Via Margutta in Rome as the hub of the family's goldsmithing production. This extensive experience, this true Italian goldsmith craftsmanship, has found widespread recognition thanks to the internet, reaching the entire Italian and European markets. A few years ago, the Gasbarri family decided to open the doors of their goldsmith workshop to customers throughout the United Kingdom, opening an office in the heart of London. The connection between our goldsmith workshop in Rome, Italy, and our sales office in London has allowed us to reach all our UK customers without the hassles of customs and import duties. Our goldsmith production is split between Rome and London, creating a beautiful fusion: Italian craftsmanship and British efficiency.
For us, every piece of jewelry we create is a work of art; it's not a ready-made piece sold to who knows who: every piece ordered by the customer is handcrafted from scratch by Italian goldsmiths. Every piece of jewelry handcrafted from scratch may look similar to others, but it's still unique, like a tailor sewing a custom suit. That's why we don't hide our work as goldsmiths; on the contrary, we highlight it: if you'd like, you can request videos/photos of the creation of your piece. A short sequence of photos and videos will show you how your piece is created from scratch.
